Detached villa with a private pool set in an enclosed garden some 500 metres from the shops of Montelupo Fiorentino which is located 22 km west of Florence.
The train stops in Montelupo and brings you to the centre of Florence in 15 minutes. You will need several days to visit the many wonderful sights of this historic town: the Duomo, the Piazza della Signora, the Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi museum, the Ponto Vecchio and the many wonderful churches and interesting museums. At the end of the day you will return to this well equipped villa with its fine swimming pool.
The villa is situated not very far from the motorway Pisa-Florence, in the garden and by the pool traffic can be heard, inside the house nothing is peaceful, however, if absolute quietness is required, this villa is not be suitable.
Experience, however, tells us that if this small disadvantage is kept in mind and it doesn't bother anyone, the location is really wonderfull. There's more to be visited in the area besides Florence: the towns of Pisa, Siena, Lucca, Prato, Montecatini (Alto) and Volterra are worth to be seen. Then there's San Gimiginano, known for its numerous towers, and Monteriggioni, a small fortressed town on a hillside. Even the coast can be reached in approx 1 hour by car
